Possessed

My wife's Palm Vx clone is possessed: It turns itself on and will not shut off. That is what is draining the battery. the problem is, I cannot figure out how to fix it. I have searched the web but all I can find that is remotely close to it is a bad power button, but I do not think that is it. I do have one test that I can try though. I acn do a hard reset and not sync it up with her old data and see if it still does the same thing. There could be some corrupt data (I know, a long shot) that may be corrupting the ROM based OS. Worth a try. if not, then the PDA has served us well. I used it for about 6 months then my wife used it for the next 2.5 years. Not bad for a $50 investment.
