Rest in Pieces...

AP and CNN are both reporting that Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi has been killed in a US airstrike that claimed at least 6 others terrorists. This is at the same time a good thing and a bad thing.

It is good because a popular "face" of terrorism in Iraq and around the world has been removed from circulation. Zarqawi. I hope you enjoy your 70 Virgin(ian)s. Congrats to Task Force 145 for completing this mission.

It could become a bad thing if we have now turned him into a martyr. I am not sure about that. Osama bin Laden would make a more powerful martyr and he is still alive. Maybe we should hunt him like a fox by a pack o'hounds but never actually catch him...just to keep him on his toes.

al-Zarqawi was the face of a growing movement in the world to push Sharia law on all the people of the world. Many websites are dedicated to reporting this and if you are not keeping up with the situation, you need to. One such website that I highly recommend is "Jihad Watch". A very enlightening read.
