Blogger/Firefox Mystery Solved

It turned out to be a cursor positioning issue. It took a while but I finally figured it out. It does not always happen, but once in a while I have to position the mouse cursor slightly above the title box. Feh.

Yesterday ended well without any issues to follow up on. A couple were reported but they were either solved locally or they were not high enough severity to involve my group. When it was time to hand over to my slightly "down with a cold" TL/colleague, I had nothing to report. Time to go home.

I got home and took care of the dogs and got ready to meet my wife for a quick dinner. We had planned on going to Scotty P's, but she changed her mind and decided on something a bit more healthy from Jason's Deli. Once we got there I noticed they had a couple of new selections, one of which was their version of a Cuban sandwich that they called "Yami's Miami Pannini". While it was not as good as a Cuban, it wasn't bad. My wife opted for the salad bar so I had her e grab some Kalamata olives...me likes those!

After dinner we went home and watched season 4, episode 4 of "The 4400". This season started out a little dry, but this last episode had a twist to it. If you have not seen the show, then get a copy of the first 3 seasons and watch those first or you will not understand ANY of what is going on now.

After we were done watching TV, I went and walked Little Man and then headed off to be, early. The rest did me a lot of good...almost too much good since I woke up wide awake at 3:30 AM unable to immediately get back to sleep. Eventually I was able to fall back to a deep slumber...just in time for the alarm clock.

Once I was up for good, I went throug my normal routine and headed off to work. My TL/colleague was there, feeling better than he did the previous two days. For the second night in a row, there were no calls for him to deal with. I know that made him happy.

After lunch he and I investigated the now vacant office across the hall. it is a tad smaller than what we have now, but it has a window and better cell phone coverage. He said he was okay with it (It will be a bit cramped, but brighter) but I told him to sleep on it before he makes up his mind.

While we were checking it out, I found a data cable (as well as a host of other items) that the previous occupant left behind. God was smiling on me because the data cable fit my Samsung SGH-X507 and the software was a free download from Samsung's site. w00t! I got back to my desk and downloaded as well as installed the software. Once installed, I was easily able to change my wallpaper (to my son's picture) and my ring tone (mp3 of "Execute the Sound" by P.O.D.). I will take it home to allow my wife to do the same. I am now very happy!

No real plans tonight...maybe some MMA action...maybe just together time...I guess I will just let things go and let the evening take its course.
