Tidbits

Collection of tidbits...some commentary... I have been swamped with work and am just now taking a break. Enjoy them.

* Tony Snow is the new White House Press Secretary. Great choice! he has been critical of the President (Bush) but not unfair. Right wing conservative with a good logical mind. Listen to the Tony Snow Show on local talk radio sometime.

* Gasoline output (production) is increasing and the use of Ethanol blends in increasing. While it does not offer the mileage that gasoline does, it is much cheaper. With the cost of gas in the $3.00 a gallon range (some places are higher), this is a welcome change. Now what we need to is get real high-qualtiy hybrid vehicles that will get us in the 100 mpg range. We can with recharging, ethanol, and bio diesel. I KNOW it. Oh, throw variable rate transmissions in there as well to help.

* Wanna bet this will not be good news or Congresswoman McKinney? I think she is going to be slapped (figuratively) around for her actions. I hate it when a simple issue has to be blown way out of proportion with racial tinges.

* Michelle Malkin has launched Hot Air, a conservative web video outlet for news and commentary. If you do not read Michelle's blog, then you are missing something great!

* Jihadis Use Media as a Weapon ... why not? Everyone else does.
