At Least I Still Have A Job

$Colleague stops by my office to ask me what I thought of my raise. I told him I was not aware I was getting one. He told me to check our online pay stub, so I did. I compared the current one (we get paid on Friday) with the last one:

* My pay went up .20 / hour. You read that correctly... twenty cents per hour. I am sure fast food workers get better raises.
* My net pay went DOWN $1.28 per paycheck, due to an increase in out of pocket benefit costs ($17.28 per pay check)
* My gross pay just increased $416 per year.

Next step? The cut our on-call pay next month. That 5% now becomes 2%.
