What is it with Indian (India) buses plunging into rivers, ponds, and gorges? CNN has an article on this today (11 dead).
It seems we have these stories every other month. What gives? No guard rails? Bad drivers?
February 1988 - 35 dead
March 2001 - 40 dead
June 2002 - 46 dead
April 2006 - 64 dead
January 2008 - 38 dead
April 2008 - 39 dead
July 2008 - 17 dead
I am sure there are more, but I figured this was a good enough example.
I am not trying to be morbid...I just find it fascinating.
