All Appears To Be Good

Back on May 20th I had my 3 month follow-up with my Neuro/ALS specialist (and an intern) to evaluate my condition's progression.  It appears to be a bit of a good news/bad news situation.

The bad news:  My left hand is noticeably worse than it was in February.  This makes typing much harder and very tiring after just a few minutes.  Also my hand cramps up all the time making life even more interesting.

The good news:  They cannot see any obvious degradation in any other part of my body.  I am still swallowing, breathing, and walking normally.  This would appear to be good news as the disease does not appear to be spreading yet.

No one said ALS was fun.
